My hair was "cooked" by a high end salon!

My hair was cooked by a "high end" salon. They ruined my color, had to strip it out, and then gave me a keratin treatment to try to fix it. Gasp. My hair was flat, dull, and crispy.

Ben was not only able to fix my hair, he made it look beautiful! I get constant compliments on the color (multiple color highlights) and my curly hair has finally been correctly cut. Ben is an artist!

I went to Salon De Cordova with NO IDEA what I wanted to do with my hair. I brought my twin sister along for support and to help me. I was thinking of every option from adding extensions (because my hair is short) to cutting it even shorter and coloring it.

Ben waw very professional and took all the time that I needed to make a sound decision without rushing me into anything. He let me decide what I felt comfortable with doing giving their advice along the way.

Ben did the haircut and did a FANTASTIC job. Ben explained what he was doing and showing me the scissoring techniques during the process of cutting my hair. VERY FASCINATING.

Zondra did the highlight coloring to accent the new "do" and make my new style sizzle.

I absolutely love my hair. I feel like a brand new me.

I walked out of the salon feeling very "SASSY".

Pros: Best stylists in town!

Fantastic Stress Relief Massage

I recently moved to the Lutz area, and was searching for a place to get a relaxing massage. I hit the jackpot when I walked in the door of Salon De Cordova! The personal service from Ben Cordova was excellent.

The stress relief massage was the best I have ever experienced. It is wonderful to know that right here in my semi-rural area, I can have world class service.

This salon experience is one that I highly recommend to everyone.

I am so glad to see Zondra on here. I sent someone on this site a referral to her just last week. I can only say that Ben and Zondra are both truly amazing, so much so that after meeting her in 1997 I followed her to 4 salon locations before moving to California, and was thrilled to find they had opened their own place when I moved back. I haven't seen her in a few years, and I miss them dearly, but no one is more educated or better qualified to touch your head! In addition, they offer such personalized service and at the right price! :)

Owned and operated by an internationally renowned hair designer and former stylist to the stars in Beverly Hills, this top tier artist in Lutz will do miracles with your hair. This salon focuses on Quality , not quantity! You won't find rows of chairs and shampoo girls here... You will get individualized customer service and even education on hair care and styling tips!
I was so lucky to have randomly selected this salon based on an internet search, and now I am a customer for life! Finding a colorist for my long, fine, straight hair has been an impossibility since I moved to Tampa almost 3 years ago. I highly recommend this salon! And the best part~ you won't pay Beverly Hills prices for their services! Amazing!

Great Custom Cut by experienced Professionals!

I felt right at home and very much relaxed from the minute I walked into the salon. Things got started with an incredible scalp massage during my shampoo. Ben did not just sit me down and cut my hair, he took his time, finding the off-center part in my hair and giving me my first symetrical hair cut in years! I have finally found a hair stylist that can cut long hair. He let me sample his amazing line of quality products and my hair has been more silky and shiny than ever before. He was able to keep length while giving my hair new life and more volume. I will never let another stylist near my hair! Ben and Zondra are amazing!

Pros: Best Hair Cut I have ever had.
Cons: No cons, loved the personal care and attention I recieved.

Words can't describe the experience there. My daughter and I both had hair makeovers, and Ben & Zondra did an excellent job in helping us to get the look we wanted. There were no mistakes on the coloring, tinting, cutting and styling that they did. We both felt like stars after leaving the salon.

I definitely recommend this salon, as you will not find one which is better. They are very professional and exciting people, with lots of award winning experience. Give them a try, as I am sure you will not be disappointed! Kudos to Ben & Zondra. Thank you so much for the great experience. :-) We will be back!

Best Colorist In Tampa Area!

I went to Salon De Cordova on a whim after flying in from Philly to visit relatives. Neither my cousin nor I knew of the salon, except through what we read on City Search. Going in, I had four-color hair, which I didn't know how they would fix. My colorist, Zondra De Cordova, actually worked a miracle on my locks!! I left with the most beautiful shade of caramel brown, and the combo hair was a thing of the past. Wow!!! My cousin, who worked with Ben De Cordova, also got all-over color highlights and her hair was transformed from lifeless to lustrous. Honestly, I've been to so many salons in Philadelphia, always paying an arm and a leg and leaving dissatisfied. Salon De Cordova, this little treasure in Lutz, was not only reasonably priced, but well worth every penny. The BEST hair experience I've ever had! And they are so pleasant and patient. Ben & Zondra are a great team, one of a kind. I have been getting my hair colored & cut by both for years. I would follow them across the world. There is none better. When I leave the salon I feel as if I am a beauty queen who has been pampered & polished and always make my follow up appointment.

If you want a great color just have Zondra put it together for you. If you want an updated haircut, both Ben and Zondra are both qualified. Trust me, you will be very pleased with what they do.

They are the best around when it comes to color, cuts, up-do, extensions etc! Doesn't matter what age you are from teens on up....they are the best. Joining to Le Camelot Day Spa you get one stop shopping hair & spa all at one place! Great service! Warm & Inviting!

Ben is a seasoned, award winning hair "artist", who is able to create a style that is custom designed to work best with your features and lifestyle. I am constantly stopped on the street and asked, "Who does your hair?". With so many choices available for hair salons, I have faithfully followed Ben for over 10 years. He is the real deal! My teenage daughter chooses to come to Ben for all her new "looks" and is always thrilled with the results. He is truly gifted in his field. You won't be disappointed!!!!

Most competent, experienced staff I've seen in the whole New Tpa/WC/Lutz area

After my former stylist decided to stay home FT with her children 5 years ago, I've been looking high and low for a salon in the New Tampa/East Pasco area. I've been to the "well-advertised" salons who pay high rents, but whose stylists aren't up to par (are too afraid to do anything with my long hair) and charge crazy prices to boot (N.I.). I went to a salon near Circuit City in New Tampa and had hair-dyed splatter all over my handbag (no offer to get it cleaned, no apology until I went back to speak with the owner), dye left on my hairline only to have the stylists give me instructions to "scrub real hard with a washcloth when I'm in the shower". I've been to a salon whose stylist I was recommended to by several friends actually told me "you don't want that" when I told her what I did want (BH & C) I was beginning to get really discouraged by the lack of good stylists in this area after dropping $150-$200 each time and my hair not much different than it was when I first arrived at each salon, I remembered an article I read about Ben de Cordova and his wife. I called him up and he fit me in that day. When I told him that I wanted my straight, long, thick hair texturized/permed he had the confidence and expertise to do just that.

The cut he gave was most-flattering to the shape of my face (no salon ever discussed this with me) as well as fun waves/curls. THANK YOU! The majority of these trendy salons have stylists in the early 20's, and they just do not have the experience to do much more than cut hair and give 'Hooter" girl highlights. I'm so glad I went to Salon de Cordova and entrusted my long locks to Ben and his staff. ALSO...no pushing the sales of any hair products. That is my biggest pet-peeve about salons these days. Looking for a salon, or want a new look and are afraid to give it a try because the stylists doesn't seem confident enough? Call Ben and his staff. Call them anyway...they are super-friendly experts and very laid-back.

Life changing hairstyle makeover!

My experience at Salon De Cordova is definately something to tell about. If you are looking for a hairstyle makeover that is life changing, Ben De Cordova is the artist for the job. I met Ben and Zondra last summer at Salon De Cordova. Ben did a hairstyle makeover for me. Before Ben performed his majik, my hair was long, stringy, damaged, had no style at all, and my haircolor was blonde and brassy. I let Ben decide the best look for me. I am so glad that I did. I would never have dreamed that I would look this nice with this darring hairstyle. My family and friends were amazed at the makeover.

Ben used two colors on my hair which added depth. He worked majik with his scissors and finished with a razor cut. Now my hair has great color, style, and body. This is a very fashionable cut. It was a life changing makeover for me. My hair looks and feels amazing. My appointment was late in the evening, and he still took his time and provided great service. The salon is very clean and comfortable. Ben even played his award winning hairstyles video for me while he was working on my hair.

This is the best hair experience I have ever had. Ben and Zondra are both very knowledgable about hair and fashion. They travel the world working on models hair and makeup. Let their trophies on display speak for themselves. Now that I have experienced Salon De Cordova, I will not visit any other salon. Don't just take my word for it, first visit their website then make your appointment and experience this for yourself. You are in for a treat.
