Recent News: Ben De Cordova Takes First Place Green Award At 2010 International Hair Fantasy Competition.
Contestants from across the U.S. competed in Manchester NH on April 22, 2010 for the title of Fantasy Hair Champion. Cash and prizes were awarded to several winners and all proceeds were to benefit the NH Food Bank.
Ben De Cordova won the First Place Green Award at the 2010 International Fantasy Hair Competition for using all recycled materials for his amazing pirate ship hair creation.
The competition's theme was Port of Call, each artist picked one city to work from. Ben choose Tampa Bay as his inspiration, looking to Tampa's Buccaneer history to create the pirate ship and pirate themed costume worn by his daughter Portia De Cordova.
